Admin Dashboard

Welcome to the AEX Ecommerce admin dashboard β€” your central command center for running your store. From here you can manage products, process orders, track revenue, oversee staff, and configure every aspect of your store’s operation.


Two Admin Roles

AEX Ecommerce has two roles that can access the dashboard:

ManagerHired staff / team membersDay-to-day operations β€” products, orders, and customers. Cannot access store settings or staff management

[!NOTE] Only an Owner can invite or remove staff members, change store settings, or view financial configuration.


Dashboard Sections

Use the sidebar to navigate between the main areas of the dashboard:

  • Store Setup β€” Configure your store name, logo, contact details, currency, and legal information
  • Products β€” Create and manage products, variants, categories, collections, and stock levels
  • Orders β€” View and process customer orders, update statuses, generate receipts
  • Customers β€” Browse your customer list, view profiles and order history
  • Staff β€” Invite and manage your team members (Owner only)
  • Analytics β€” Revenue reports, top products, customer insights, and more

New Owner Setup Checklist

Before you start selling, complete these four setup steps:

1. Store Setup

Configure your store’s identity and contact details.

  • Add your store name, logo, and primary color
  • Set your contact email and support email address
  • Enter your business address and timezone
  • Add your legal information (company registration, tax ID)

2. Payment Setup

Connect your payment processor so customers can pay.

  • Set up your Paystack account (required for Nigeria and Ghana)
  • Add your Paystack public and secret keys in the payment settings
  • Run a test transaction to confirm payments are working

3. Product Setup

Add your first products so customers have something to buy.

  • Create at least one product category
  • Add your first product with at least one variant (SKU, price, stock)
  • Upload product images
  • Publish the product

4. Shipping Setup

Define where you deliver and at what cost.

  • Add your supported delivery countries/zones
  • Set shipping rates for each zone
  • Confirm your return policy is in place

[!TIP] The dashboard shows your onboarding progress at the top of the home screen. Each checklist item updates automatically as you complete it. You can return to any step at any time from Store Settings.
